Just a note to everyone

Just a heads up to everyone: Jim uses epic hax in Halo 3. Within minutes, people were screaming at him for cheating. Jim, tsk tsk.

Keep this on the d/l, but I heard he has a gun that shoots warthogs, but, you know, that's just a rumor.

PS: I was the VIP *3* times!

I'm pretty sure I'm getting a cat for my birthday.

Now, do I name it ROFL or Mr. Kill?

Apparently someone stole my credit card number and charged $470 worth of online genealogy lookups to it.

Sigh.

Everyone's (obviously) jealous of my pimp lab safety glasses.

We had to get safety glasses at work, and because I don't do any experiments, I picked the funniest, most outlandish pair I could find. Awesome.

    Stupid Childhood Nostalgia

Back when I was but a wee lad, my mom bought me 2 stuffed animals that I remember. They were two plush NFL mascots, one for the Broncos and one for the Cowboys. I hated the Cowboys, but my dad liked them (and then my dad left). But I *loved* the Broncos one. Then one day, I accidently decapitated it. I don't even remember how but I remember being very very sad. When we moved, I think it was thrown away. It's kinda stupid now, but I always wished I had kept it because it was me, only when I was a kid.

I just found one on Ebay and I'm very happy to hopefully be the winning bidder.

WASHINGTON - A Web site is claiming that seven NFL football stadiums will be hit with radiological dirty bombs this weekend, but the government on Wednesday expressed doubts about the threat.

The warning, posted Oct. 12, was part of an ongoing Internet conversation titled "New Attack on America Be Afraid." It mentioned NFL stadiums in New York, Miami, Atlanta, Seattle, Houston, Oakland and Cleveland, where games are scheduled for this weekend.

Dex and I will be in Cleveland this weekend for the Broncos game. I hate this scare-tactic shit. Watch the place be half-empty now. Oh well.

No Club Level(some communication problems), but still FREAKING AWESOME. Also I met Barrelman but there's no picture of that. More later. Tons of pictures need to be resized and posted. Most will probably be on Facebook. I'll probably do that when I get back.

    Lots of stories to tell.

    Denver Trip, Day 2

I promised pictures, but I lied. I am a horrible liar. There are pictures, but I haven't uploaded them to my laptop or to the web.

Today was a very awesome start of the vacation:

    1. We started by heading out to do some activities with the group my mom's friend works with, which is a group that takes care of hawks in captivity and such. Knowing me, I'm not much of a nature person but this was pretty sweet for these reasons:

    a) I got a stick to poke things with.
    b) I got to use said stick to poke bushes that would send rabbits flying out only to be mercilessly killed by ravenous hawks, then torn apart, eaten, and then the leftovers bagged and saved.

Okay, that's a little excessive. It was to train the hawks in hunting in the wild and stuff like that. But wow it was pretty freaking sweet to see. Plus hawks are cool.

They also have cacti out here. I stepped on one. It hurts!

We then took a trip to Red Rocks amphitheater, where there's a picture of me with the rocks in the background and the city of Denver behind me. It will be posted later. From there we went out into the mountains. And up about 10k feet. At the start it was 70 degrees and sunny, but by the top of the mountain, after a long drive, it was a blizzard of snow and very cold out. It's really surreal to go from tshirt weather to coat weather in the span of an hour.

After that, I made fun of the names of the grocery stores out here: "King Soopers". That is intentionally mispelled. But they had something that Pittsburghers do not! They had Livewire...IN CANS. I took a picture with my phone. And I bought one. I then realized I have to drink it here befoer I leave.

But the best news of the day is that I MAY get a seat upgrade for the game to the Club Level. It depends on a lot of things, but if I can get it....holy shit.

Game tommorrow. Tailgating at 1pm, game starts at 6:15 (Mountain, 8:15 EST). I'm realizing that tommorrow may be the best day of my life.

    Denver Trip Day 1

Here I am! I'm finally here, and so far the trip is going well. The flight was smooth, and we sat next to another Broncos fan and we talked a bit about the game this weekend. After getting here, I found out that we'll be going to the Avalanche game on Monday, meaning I'll take in 2 Colorado sporting events in 2 days. I'm really excited about that.

    More later (with pictures!)
